ABOUT AS CROWS FLY
My Name is Ralph Mueller and I run As Crows Fly the Original Rock Band from Australia.
Born in Australia and grew up in Germany in the US Army. Great mixture. Started performing early 80s under my band name "Iron Raider" for the US Army Forces in Germany.
A few years later having joined up with Brandy's Pale, I won the National German Record Contest, with my song "Dream of Tomorrow". Played 5 years professionally in most European Countries.
Went back to my birth country Australia in the 90s. Tried a few projects. But that all changed as my son passed away. Got soon after involved teaching 9-11 year children at the Kannanook Primary school, how to play Guitar, Drums, Bass and Singing.
A few month later I started my band called As Crows Fly. The first concert was a performance together with 15 Children from the Kannanook Primary school at their school. Songs from T-Rex, ACDC, Taylor Sift etc. Soon later I made connection with Sigmund Grondman (Sid). He dealt with AC/DC from the start, and was in charge of the Video, where AC/DC played on back of a truck. He did FOH and Recordings with AC/DC, Bee Gees, Billy Thorpe, Chuck Berry etc.
He helped me record my latest album, together with Steve Scanlon (Manager of Vanessa Amarossi and doing mastering for LA Sony).
Now I am honored to have been signed by World Hall of Fame Martial Artist Soke Sam Gervasi, who besides being a great friend, also has been for many decades, a well known Music Promoter and owner of record label Magnetic Promotions-Records.
As to the name As Crows Fly, I have decided to name the Band this way, due to my upbringing in the US Army and it is a Military Term. My songs partially reflects my musical life journey, some are just simply fun songs.
I am a straight forward normal guy with a wicked sense of humour, which also reflects live. See you there at my next concerts.
